Freedom to Read Week is an annual event that encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom, which is guaranteed them under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The event is organized by the Freedom of Expression Committee of the Book and Periodical Council.
The UBC Music, Art and Architecture Library encourages all of UBCs communities to take part in this important and fun event, happening from February 25 to March 3, 2018. A list of events happening in your community can be found here.
Happy reading everyone!
