The final concert in the 2010-2011 season of the Dodson Music Series will take place this Friday, March 4th at 12:00 noon in the Dodson Room (302) of the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.
Spring Song: Voices of Spring and Renewal will be a celebration of Spring themes in music. The programme will include piano music by Dvorak, a flute piece by Canadian composer Srul Irving Glick, and songs by Schumann, Schubert, Strauss and Rachmaninoff.
The performers will be Chris Hutchinson, flute; Naoki Natsuri, piano; and Rachel Fenlon, soprano.
Admission is free.
The Dodson Music Series is organized and performed by students of the UBC School of Music. Leah Giselle Field is the Artistic Director.
